16 Dec Women + Waves top 10 items on their Xmas List
Women + Waves share their most desirable Christmas list this year!
It’s not long until we’re sat with our friends and family opening our presents on Christmas morning. There’s nothing more awkward than unwrapping your gift to feel slightly bummed deep down, that it’s not exactly what we’d hoped for. Even though you probably said ‘don’t worry about getting me anything, I don’t mind’. (To be very honest, I feel a little disappointed that my Christmas present under the tree isn’t barking this year, but hey ho that’s sometimes the way it goes.) To avoid any more fake smiles on Christmas day I came up with a list of all the things I wanted and thought maybe it will help you with your list to give to your loved ones or at least some inspiration for others. There’s no shame in it, it probably makes it easier for them to just pick a few items off the list.
1. Three Six Five Diary
OK, it’s a huge guilty pleasure but Tiffany, off Made In Chelsea just created a new vegan pleather diary full of cute ideas for your year. Lots of positive thinking and creative ways to keep your schedule organised and you feeling your best!
2. Dick Pearce Belly Boards
The perfect summer fun! Can flop around on one of these things no matter the conditions. When their not being used, it can just sit there looking pretty in your house.
3. La Vie Boheme Yoga Mat
New Years Resolutions – do more yoga. New matt = motivation of course.
I love hats and there’s no other hat brand doing it better than Brixon. They have the perfect range from summer fadoras to winter fidler caps.
5. Lunar Necklace by Catch The Sunrise
Simple effortless jewelry available to customise which also makes it the perfect gift. Catch the Sunrise is currently Crowdfunding, not only will you get a beautiful new accessory, you’ll also be supporting the brand grow.

6. Lucy Watson’s Vegan Cook Book
Yes, she is also from MIC. But she’s a great vegan cook and I’m her No.1 supporter. Great easy vegan recipes that make it easy for everyone to give it a go. #veganuary #tryvegan
Well it’s just hours of fun. You can do quizes with her (perfect for Xmas with the family), ask her inappropriate questions, wind up everyone in the house and of course play any music or podcasts on demand.
8. Milk & Honey Book
I hear Rupi Kaur’s first book, Milk and Honey, is the poetry collection seems to be every woman needs on her night stand. Accompanied by her own sketches, the beautifully honest poems read like the everyday, collective experiences of today’s modern woman.
9. Volcom Skirt
I finally found the perfect LBS (little black skirt) to go with every festive outfit this winter.
10. Little book of Hygge by Miek Wiking
I’ve just finished ‘The Little book of Lykke’. Once I picked it up I couldn’t put it down. It’s an amazing insight into the Danish world and it will make you want to book tickets to Denmark instantly! So the next one on the list to read is the Little Book of Hygge.
Hopefully this has helped you have some Christmas gift inspiration! Just make sure you say your pleases and thank yous, and no one will think your a spoilt brat 😉
