We are super stoked to announce that we are now officially one of the best surf schools in Europe!
It’s not every day that you win an award. So you can imagine how our jaws dropped and eyes popped out when we found an email from Beyond Surfing in our inbox earlier this month, congratulating us on winning their 2022 award for being among the top ten surf schools and surf camps in Europe!
Beyond Surfing is an independent outdoor sports magazine who believe in the transformative power of water sports. Every year, they conduct a study in search of the best surf companies to help their readers find their next surfing adventure.
This year, they analysed over 1,133 surf camps, surf schools and surf hostels across Europe, looking at things like customer satisfaction and loyalty, online reviews, brand awareness and variety of offerings. Women + Waves were one of just ten surf companies who received this award, so we are very proud to be ranked amongst the best of the best.

I’m super proud of our team and everyone’s support over the years. We just love surfing and love sharing it with people.”

Since day one, our goal has always been to bring like-minded women together over a shared love of surfing. We wanted women to feel confident in the water and to reap the healing benefits of a fun day in the sea. We wanted to create a rad group of women who support each other not just as surfers, but as people. To motivate each other in and out of the water, to celebrate their wins and to raise each other up, one wave at a time.
Now, five years later, we’re a global surf community with members from around the world, even as far as Australia! So to all our surf sisters out there, we want to say a massive THANK YOU for being part of this journey with us. For all the waves you’ve shared with us, the laughs we’ve had together, the kind words you’ve written about your experiences with us, the photos you’ve shared and the friends you’ve brought along with you. It honestly means the world to us that we are your top choice for surf experiences in Europe!
We are so immensely proud of this amazing community that we’ve created together, and we’re beyond excited for what the future holds!
